Chris Field has been disrupting the status quo most of his life. His most important disruption is Mercy Project, the Texas based non-profit he started to rescue children from human trafficking in Ghana, Africa.
Its innovative approach has drawn international attention and earned the prestigious Norman Borlaug Humanitarian Award. To date, Mercy Project has rescued nearly 300 children, returned them to their families, and provided them with education that will transform their futures.
At just 19-years-old Field ran his first marathon, ran for mayor of his hometown (placing third out of five), and was hired to run a camp that hosted 600 inner-city kids each summer.
If disruption was a stick of dynamite, his spark had officially been lit. Field has filled the years since with countless more disruptions including running dozens more marathons, setting four Guinness World Records, raising millions for charities, writing the most viral ice cream review ever, and founding a business class at Texas A&M University to name a few.
He is also the author of two Amazon best-selling books with a third set to be published late this summer.
Field lives in College Station, Texas with his wife Stacey and their four children ages 6 to 14.
